Norway allocated 100 million dollars for the restoration of Ukraine’s infrastructure
Earlier, the Government of Norway allocated NOK 300 million for budgetary support to the Government of Ukraine through the World Bank. The funds were used to pay salaries, pensions and social benefits.
In May 2023, the Government of Norway allocated another €378 million to Ukraine:
— NOK 2.8 billion (€235 million) for vital humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine;
— NOK 1.7 billion (€143 million) for civil support of the Ukrainian government.
It is noted that the funding will be directed to the repair and maintenance of civil infrastructure to provide Ukrainians with access to electricity and water.
