The Highway Service in Lviv Region (currently the Service for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure in Lviv Region) entered into contracts for the design and execution of works. The Service is involved in criminal proceedings (No. 12020140000000540 and No. 12020140040001228), which were initiated due to the embezzlement of budget funds by entering knowingly false information into the acts of completed works signed by the said Service.
*Please note that we do not accuse anyone of committing a criminal offense, but we are sure that by drawing the attention of a conscious society and state bodies to subjects (managers/recipients of funds) who in the past had «questions» from law enforcement agencies and society regarding honest use of budget funds, additional control over the fulfillment of the duties assigned to such subjects will be introduced to prevent the waste/appropriation of budget funds, including the funds of Western partners.
